I would be lying if I said I preferred this to a fresh cup of coffee, but I'll give credit where credit is due. Instant coffee has come a LONG way from the powdery chalkiness of yesteryear. I would compare this to any mid-grade coffee that you would get at Starbucks or Dunkin Donuts. It really would be hard to tell it was instant if you didn't know. Perfect for the glove compartment and camping trips.
