To start off with, I am a coffee lover. Plain and simple. I don't use fancy words or descriptions, to make it sound like I am a professional taste tester, or some over educated coffee expert. No, I , like so many of you, just love a great cup of of coffee. That said, I am so lucky and fortunate to be able to try the new RealCups being offered by coffee.org. I have quite a few to drink, so I'll be posting several reviews over the weeks to come. Today, I want to talk about the Brown Gold line of RealCups for your Keurig. I got to sample the Peruvian, the Colombian and the Ethiopian.
The Brown Gold line of RealCups is like taking a trip around the world, without leaving your kitchen. Take a sip and close your eyes, and you're almost transported to these coffee rich nations. The Colombian and Peruvian coffees, were similar in taste. A medium roast, mild and flavorful. I really enjoyed them, But, as someone who loves a dark roast, the Brown Derby Ethiopian knocked it out of the park. Bold, rich, and full of flavor, and unlike some other dark roasts I have tried, the Brown Derby Ethiopian has no bitter aftertaste. It's one of those coffees that make you want another cup. One of those coffees that after that first taste, you'll want to exclaim, "Now, that's a cup of coffee!" I highly recommend the entire new Brown Derby line of RealCups available from coffee.org. Like I said, "It's like taking a trip around the world....without leaving your kitchen!"
